Become a Mentor

You can make it possible for an adult with an intellectual or developmental disability to live a richer, more meaningful life.  As a Mentor, you become a teacher, caregiver, advocate and friend to an individual who needs you, your home and your heart.

The unique relationship that develops between you and the individual with whom you share your home is at the heart of our programs continued success.  Our Mentors feel great pride and satisfaction by helping individuals in need – but the real reward is the joy this relationship brings to each person's life.

California MENTOR is always seeking new Mentors to open their home and share their lives with the individuals we serve.  With your help we can make the dream of living in a family home become a reality for additional individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities throughout the state.  We invite you to become a Mentor and embark on an experience that is both challenging and rewarding.

Experience the joy of helping others.
